Delaware

Hi! Our next state is Delaware, I chose Delaware out of random curiosity for what food it would have. It was very interesting learning about all the different things they do there and about the states different foods and places.

Now lets begin on our questions!

What would you want to see?

I would like to see the Fenweck Island lighthouse. It was made in the mid 1800s and has lots of history, I chose it for how beautiful it is and what an amazing painting it would be!

Next question! What would you want to do?

I would like to watch the annual Nanticoke Indian pow wow, after seeing it I knew it would be on my bucket list!

 Who would you like to meet? ( can be from past or present )

I would like to meet the famous artist Felix Darley and ask about art and different painting techniques

 Lastly, what would you want to eat?

I would like to eat the famous "Bobbie" a sandwich that consists of turkey, cranberry jelly and homemade stuffing. Its basically Thanksgiving on a bun! The first Bobbie was made in 1976 when two siblings who owned the restaurant Capriottis on Wilmingtons North Union Street  wanted to recreate their Aunt's recipe, as you can guess it was a hit! The Bobbie has been a Delaware favorite ever since. For a sandwich the Bobbie has a lot of history and it surprised me when I tried it and loved it! Below are pictures of my family and I recreating the famous sandwich!

Utah was this weeks state since we have heritage there, it was delightful and we hope you enjoy! What would you like to see? I would like to see Zion National Park and walk down the Virgin River. What would you like to do I would like to ski at one of  Utah's famous ski resorts Who would you like to meet? I'd like to meet Brigham Young, the founder of Utah. What would you like to eat? I'd like to eat lots of Jell-O salad and Funeral Potatoes.

Hello everyone! Today's state was Illinois, i was very intrigued to find out what food was all there own and try some of it! Below are a few questions i answered regarding the state and if i were to visit what i'd do. What would you like to see? I would like to see the Cloud Gate in Chicago, when i looked at the pictures online I was amazed at the architecture of the bean shaped monument and would love to see it in person.It was mainly built by the British artist Anish Kapoor and was made for the opening of Millennium Park in 2004.   What would you like to see? I would like to see the Tribune Tower, home of the Tribune Publishing company. Much like the Cloud Gate the architecture for this building is incredible yet still has a sense of old in there too. I would just love to see this beautiful building in person and if you would too just travel to Chicago,Illinois. Who would you like to meet?
